My HDD failed on me. Thank God I was able to back my data up, most importantly my studies-related files, and then the rest like my music, and movies. I’ve just spent the last couple of hours setting my laptop back to it’s original setting, and I suspect it’ll take some more hours before I am able to reach full productivity again. Chat with me online when you see me, kay?
I’ve gotta go. Will continue updating and installing later. CLASS!
David[woohoo!]

I feel for you. A few months back, my external hard drive KOed. Boy did I panic. I had loads of movies and MP3s inside there! Luckily, I was able to salvage much of the MP3 and all of the videos.
I’ve learned that we always need to backup backup backup. But I find that money is an issue. External hard drives are cheap, but not THAT cheap. The money can always be used for something else, like petrol :P
Thanks, Bernie! I kinda felt that I need to get an external HDD soon. Cannot risk .. my laptop dying on me again. Especially at this crucial time.
David[hmm]
you too? man! sorry to hear
Yeah. Me too.
