Was in Singapore recently, and we were at the “backstage” of the launch of Nissan’s latest car, the Skyline GT-R.

Pardon the photograph cause it was taken by my boss. Boo ..
EDIT : Oh, forgot to mention .. my boss and I were put up in a “chicken” hotel. Hotel 81, on Joo Chiat road. “CHICKEN” PLACEEE!!! Where room and service goes by hourly rate. Don’t think there’s room service though. GARHGHH.
My week passed pretty quickly, travelled all the work days up north on Monday, and down south on Thursday. Good thing Wednesday was a holiday. And the weekend was spent catching friends and movies which was a good restful time.
Do forgive my lack of updates, as I haven’t really had the time to sit down and think about things. I guess this is what they call .. busy at work.
I am reminded of how blessed I am, when I think about the freedom that my work gives me despite having such a busy week. God’s just been so good!
Looking forward to slow 4 day work week! Have a good day, you.
Hi, back for two days, but leaving today for Singapore.
Work.
Ah, will be in Penang for 2 days of work!
Don’t know if you can classify it as work … hehe.
Having gone out for almost 6 months, these two words come to mind when I think about my relationship with Liz. I’m just sitting in the office (it’s almost 5:30pm now, so I’m zoning out), reflecting, and realizing how important these two values are to a relationship.

This year, all the Lees made it back for Christmas, and we all had a nice steamboat dinner at home in Penang. It was good to have Gerald back, as he hasn’t been back for some time.
Here’s a shot!

Youngest is the tallest, eldest is the shortest.
Funky.

Shot this in Penang, when I was back there during the December holidays. Sigh. Thinking of holidays now. Too early in the year, David! Too EARLY!
Hmm… Liz and I realized that we don’t take a lot of pictures .. Haha. Time for me to invest in a better camera! Maybe not an expensive one .. but rather, a point and shoot one. Hmm .. but here’s a picture of us!
For those who’ve never met us, hello!

Affirmation has never been something natural to me. Maybe it’s because of my upbringing but the other day over dinner, Liz pointed out to me that I’ve been more caring and sensitive towards her. It was really affirming, to hear it from her.
Then I began to realize that I have been spending more time with her, often affirming her with gestures and physical actions. I guess it’s also in her nature that she loves being held and hugged.
God’s changing me, not only my love towards her but also towards others. I suppose .. apart from moving on with ministries and life, I guess my mannerisms, perceptions and mindsets are also moving on. I’m beginning to see needs of those who are around me, and somehow there’s a desire to help them fulfill those needs, or lead them to God who is the ultimate source of hope and living water. Somehow, I feel like I’m almost automatically relating to their current situation and then feel compelled to reach out to them.
I pray that God’ll continue to do His work in my life, that I may not only be that light to the world, but also that source of comfort and counsel flowing from the Holy Spirit.
Liz and I visited Daniel and Adeline yesterday, to greet Abigail into this world. Both mom and baby are healthy, praise God.
The amazing thing was how the newborn baby looked. I’ve never seen one so upclose before .. and I had a slightly mixed reaction. On one hand, it’s amazing to be able to see new life, right in front of you .. but conversely, the baby didn’t look at all like the smooth, fair, supple-skinned, cute little thing we all know.
I can’t imagine when I have my own child one day.
