Weekends are always too short.
They pass by too quickly.
They’re over before you know it.
Sigh.
In the last 9 days, I ‘ve been to Pahang 3 times.
First was last week’s Monday, where I went to Kuala Lipis for work.
Second was this week’s Monday, where I went to Bentong.
Third was yesterday, left in the morning for Pekan and arrived back at about 1030pm.
I’m so tired.
Going for another appointment now. :|
All my accounts are in 3 figure amounts, but I’m smiling! Why? Cause I paid the downpayment for the car last week and collected the car on Friday!
There’s just so much more to enjoy in life, even without the luxury of money. I thank God for a good weekend, filled with respect, apologies, visits, surprises, bliss, sweat and lasagna. Yesterday was a public holiday in Malaysia, and my brother came from Penang on board the night train, arriving at about 7 something. We then decided to go on a roadtrip back to Bentong, where we grew up to visit some old family friends.
So, we met Liz and her family for breakfast and then drove to Bentong in my NEW car! Woohoo! More on that .. tomorrow.
Right now, I’m just filled with gratitude for what God has enabled me with, and provided for in my life.

Liz and I went to the Perodua showroom yesterday to put our downpayment for a new MyVi .. and yeah, my bank account’s pretty empty now.
On the other hand, can’t wait for our new car! Should be getting it either tomorrow, or Friday!

After the proposal, I had to come clean with the blog that I’ve kept for the past 5 months. And now, like the ring .. it’s also going to come into light!
I threw the idea of going up to Camerons out, cause .. yeah even though we’d be clear of what we’re getting ourselves into, others might not. And taking cues from Paul who kinda said,”If you’re gonna do something that you think might stumble someone else, don’t do it .. whether it’s right or wrong.”
So, I made plans to go up to Penang instead, sold the room (thank God), and drove up on Thursday early morning.
