The second installment to the update of our trip back to Penang over the long weekend!
I had a slow start to the Saturday, probably feeling a little woozy from all the action and events the day before. more of that .. in the near future!
Rolled around in bed for a bit before getting out for lunch. Brought Liz for some pasembur and mee rebus (original versions of them, unlike those in KL *UGH*) and we then went to visit the Youth in Wesley Methodist for a bit before shooting off to buy some of Penang’s famous tambun biscuits and other assortments.
In the evening, we went to the beach again, and shot some photos!
And .. I’m here to .. announce .. the WORLD’s BEST PISANG GORENG! ABSOLUFABULOUSUPER! ABSOLUFABULOUSUPER! ABSOLUFABULOUSUPER!!!

No fight. Pisang Goreng (banana fritters) with ice-cream. ABSOLUFABULOUSUPER! This is a must have in Penang. We bought the pisang goreng from Chee Seng Garden, and brought it to Maxim Cake house nearby and requested that the ice-cream be put on top it. And it was ABSOLUFABULOUSUPER!
Here’s the gallery that all of you love so much. I like them too, putting captions are so easy. Enjoy!
