I’ve been missing Penang badly. Really, it’s to the point where I just don’t find any point hunting for food in Cheras, KL or Selangor cause it’s just.. too far, too expensive, and/or PLAIN LOUSY!
I miss the scenery in Penang too. Anywhere you go, it looks at least 10 times better than wherever I look in KL. Here, it’s just buildings [ although some of them are very nice ], cars, and roads. My apartment in Penang overlooks the hill, with the sky as it’s backdrop. The sea is visible from my room, and a river flows just beside the apartment. Man, what a view to wake up to, though it isn’t magnificent. The flow of the clouds in the sky isn’t blocked by skyscrapers that yeah, as it’s name suggests.. scrapes the sky of it’s splendor.
I haven’t begun on the food yet. I can’t wait till the 20th of this month, when I’ll be going back for a full 2 weeks [hopefully!]. Till then, I would have to supress my cravings for Penang food and settle with chap fan and chicken rice.
Will continue on that in the next entry.
