If you’ve noticed, I’ve got an icon/avatar on each of my comments! If you’d like to have your own icons beside your comments, just spend 2 minutes in signing up for gravatars (globally recognized avatar) here and your avatar will appear with every comment that you make. Cool, right?
Cheers!
Hey, if you’ve noticed … I’ve added some image links on the outer sidebar of this blog. If you’d like to be linked, do send me an image file that I may process and crop to be placed on the sidebar. Send it to bigboyalready at gmail dot com.
What do you think of the current image links? Nice?
Thank God it's FRIDAY!
And what a good day to pink-fy the blog! Leave a comment, and tell me your thoughts!
David[hehehe]
PS: Eunice suggested a wacky pink for a colour scheme, and I thought .. why not? So here's to you, Eunicieeeeeee!
EDIT - PPS: Oh, I need a suggestion for the colour scheme of this blog. If you think PINK is GAY, and black is too .. passe, then please participate at the poll on the right sidebar! Thanks!
Gah. AmbitiousLemon. Having trouble with it. I was able to restore my database here on http://davidlcz.freeprohost.com thankfully. Thinking of sticking to this host, maybe upgrade my plan soon.
And get a domain name. Any suggestions?
Meanwhile, http://david.ambitiouslemon.com is .. dead. Bear with the broken links on this blog. Will fix it in the future. Or .. if you want to follow a link, just copy it, paste it on your address bar, and replace david.ambitiouslemon.com with davidlcz.freeprohost.com.

Another enhancement! I noticed that .. when I reply to comments from someone, they don’t come back to check if there’s a reply. So I’ve installed a plugin to help notify you if a reply has been posted!
It’s enabled by default, each time you post a comment. If you do not wish to receive any notification, remember to UNCHECK the option, just after the text area before you click “Submit Comment”, kay?
Other than that, keep ‘em comments coming!

Hmm.. since I added the mini-stats section a week or so ago, the “maximum concurrent” number has been stuck at 8. Then, I checked earlier in the afternoon, it has surged up to 21! Interesting. People read my blog on Sunday, huh?

When do you read my blog? Leave a comment!
David[hmm]
Gah, I should be studying! Sigh. What happened to my will power. Gah.
Anyhow, I’ve updated Hemingway to version 0.12. I like this theme. It’s what Chet would term it as me being obscure. I’d call it being mysterious. Hehe.
Here are the additions:
- Login - Ah, finally a button for me to click to access my admin page. Long overdue.
- Statistics - Not really full fledged stats, but they’re good-to-know stats. Like .. how many people are reading my blog at the same time. :) Oh .. maybe I should change the value of .. the counter. I used to have like .. 30000? Can’t remember. Doesn’t matter lah. I like the .. “currently online” detail bit.
- Monthly Archives - Aaaahh. Another one. Long ovedue. Only about 18 months though. Or 19. Too long, not nice.
- Pages - Finally, I can list my pages. Don’t have many, but they are .. nice pages.
Here are some lack of additions:
- Post Navigation - If I remember correctly, I used to have that navigation .. to go to the next/previous post, right? Gosh. I was such a … $#%# for deleting my previous theme .. and not saving my codes. But .. I can’t seem to get it working with the codes, that I think I used before.
- Links - Still leaving them out. I’ve got a long list, and though I have the option to include it on blocks at the bottom, together with the archives and stuff .. I don’t think I’ll do it. Maybe a selected few, one day. Like, special people? *heeeeeheeeee.
Tweaked some of the .. dates and stuff. Unimportant. I want however, to implement relative dates on the “Recent Posts” block. It’s really cool to .. know how many days was the .. post last posted. I think that’d be cool. Someone else did it .. but hard to copy ler. Very .. core codes. I = ku-ci-rat. Gah.

WordPress 2.0.1 was released a couple of days ago, and it fixed some of the things that I thought shouldn’t have been introduced into WP2.0. First was the uploading feature. Now I can specify the upload directory … and defer from using the date and year organization of the files. Gah. Second was a bug when sending images to the editor after uploading.
And, I added a feature that I thought I/you all could live without. The chronological navigation feature, which I’ve added into the single post pages. Now, there are links to the next and previous posts on the top of the single post page. I think this would enable readers to read in chronological order, instead of reading according to categories. Just that .. they can’t get to the first post of this blog. Hmm.. Read backwards lah, ya?
David[hmm]
Ah, how do you guys like the new theme? I like it cause it’s so simple. I think that’s what I’m returning to, in my blogging. Simplicity. From now on, no more chatterbox, no more unread comments section, no more links to other blogs. And those on dial-up will rejoice, cause loading time will be super fast. Now, having to click on the entry to read it, I suppose it’s for those who really are interested in reading. Ehe.
Some promotion for WordPress again! WordPress 2.0 was released a week or so back, and it rocks. It imports Blogger, Movable Type, Textpattern and also from RSS feeds! So Christine, if you can find a hosting site .. you can import your blogger entries already! Woohoo!
And the weeks get busier. Argh.
